There are couple of incredible events going on  in the twin cities this weekend! And since the weatherman says it will be a nice – hot – but nice weekend, maybe you want to plan to attend some of the fun events:

In Waterloo:

Enjoy the sounds of great jazz in Uptown Waterloo!

 

The 19th Annual Jazz Festival in Uptown Waterloo , sponsored by Sun lLife Financial ,is something not to be missed. The festival starts tonight – July 15th with main stage at the Waterloo City Hall parking and satellite stage at the Waterloo City Centre. The You can enjoy it for 3 days, listening and dancing to Jully Black, Kellylee Evans, Hillario Duran’s Latin Jaxx Band to mention just a few. The festival is very popular, attracts thousands of people and it is hosted by he Uptown Waterloo BIA with festival partner Sherwood Systems Inc. Other local, well known companies and businesses also partner with the festival to make sure you enjoy the best of jazz in Uptown Waterloo.

Well known local business – The Brick Brewery – will make their community presence known as well – make sure you try their famous Waterloo Dark beer – you will not be disappointed!

In Kitchener:

Ribs and beer - on a beautiful summer weekend - how much better can it get?

Downtown Kitchener will be a very happy place – the RibFest and Craft Beer show is getting on it’s way today at the Victoria Park. It starts at 5 pm today, runs Saturday from noon to 9 pm and Sunday from noon to 6 pm. Enjoy not only the tasty ribs and varieties of crafted beers – live entertainment with free admission is another bonus. But remember – donations to the Food Bank will be greatly appreciated. And if you thought that’s all you will be able to enjoy… due to a popular demand, the midway will be returning to the park!
